    Jerusafunk's 2nd full-length album and first vinyl LP, JFUNK! Recorded at the Droom Studio in the historic Rancho Linda Vista in Oracle AZ, is an amalgamation of their recent endeavors to compose and perform music inspired by countries that have an analogous sound to their Sonoran home. With a few new band members that are some of the best young musicians in Phoenix, they were able to lay down this record in 7 days on a Tascam 388, capturing a funky psyche vibe that only Oracle, AZ could accommodate.

She flees through thickened sand

His face a mere superstition

She turns around to grasp his hand

But all that’s there is sun, and sand, and sky

And above a lonesome dove


What was once her home has been bombed to the ground

And as the Daesh troops advance

Her father whispers run as fast as you can

Now displaced and alone she wish that she could just fly

To the camp west of Manbij

Just like the dove


A shaman sits on shaded bank

His eyes two orbs of azurite

Whilst motioning to the sky

He tells her that the dove, will fly, and sing,

In spite of hate and war


Once the Mirage façade fades

There she sees the camp

With the rest of her family

And they're together again

Just like the dove they fly and sing
